The Iowa Hawkeye women's basketball team is heading into post season play on a high note.

Head coach Lisa Bluder turned an injury-decimated team that started off 1-6 in the Big Ten into a team that won nine of their last 11 conference games and earned a No. 3 seed in the Big Ten tourney.

She also earned herself Big Ten Coach of the Year honors, despite having the youngest starting lineup in the Big Ten. It is Bluder's third time receiving the award (2001,2008).

Freshman Jamie Printy was a big reason for Iowa's late season run. Printy put up an astronomical 71 3-pointers on the season, helping her secure the Big Ten freshman of the Year award.
