Bengals Show Tebow That He's Not In College Anymore

Everyone that knows who's who in college football can tell you who Tim Tebow is. One of the best college athletes of all time Tebow was a quarterback that could run like a fullback and pass the ball quite effectively.

Tebow had his first taste of college football his freshman year. That year his team, the Florida Gators, went to the National Championship and pulverized a phenomenal Ohio State team. Tebow played a small part in that game, but had Ted Ginn Jr. been there for Ohio State he wouldn't have seen too much action.

His Sophomore year Tebow won the Heisman Trophy, the following year the National Championship. Last year they lost only one game and made it to another BCS game against the undefeated Cincinnati Bearcats.

The Bearcats defense was no match for Tim Tebow he had one of his best collegiate games of his career, He made an astounding 31-35 completions and 482 yards with three touchdown passes. He ran the ball 14 times for 51 yards and had a rushing touchdown in the 51-24 beatdown of Cincinnati.

Needless to say Tebow is not very well liked in the state of Ohio. So when I heard his first NFL playing time would be against the Bengals I was hoping he would show them how Ohio football is really like.

Don't get me wrong the Bengals personally have any vendetta against Tebow, but some of the fans might.

Tebow had a good game against the Bengals 8-13 passing for 105 yards. He would have had a better game if the receivers didn't drop the ball.

The thing that people were concerned about was Tebow trying to run the ball in the NFL. Well their worries became Tebow's in Cincinnati.

With three seconds left in the game the rookie quarterback decided to run in for a touchdown. He got the six points, but also received a couple bruised ribs as a couple Bengals defenders met him at the goal line.

The hit should have came with a banner saying “Welcome to the NFL, you're not in college anymore,” because you just can't do that in this league.

If you're Michael Vick you might be able to get away with it, but even he has suffered set backs. Tebow tries to run people over and as he seen Sunday he will suffer just as hard of a blow.

He's young he'll grow and move on, but hand it to the Bengals they did what no other Ohio team could and thats beat Tebow's team.
