After another week of favourable results, Arsenal have the opportunity to further close the gap on stumbling Spurs. Chelsea’s victory means a performance giving anything less than 110% could threaten our current resurgence in form, and our drive for third place.

The principal team news this morning is the return of Arteta and Ramsey to the fold, while Benayoun remains doubtful. This extra depth, combined with Gervinho’s gradual return following the Africa Cup of Nations, could see Oxlade-Chamberlain return to the bench.

These additions really give what was a bare-bones squad against Milan a much needed boost. Something I believe to have gone relatively unnoticed is the importance of our full-backs, and their return from injury. It is extremely unlucky...
