It may not be played until January, but the FA Cup 3rd round draw has wetted the lips of football fans around the world.

A joy to all is the pairing of Manchester United and Manchester City, meaning one of the favourites for the trophy will definitely be knocked out in the third round. The next biggest pairing in the draw saw Arsenal paired with the same team as last season - Leeds United.

After yesterday's 4-0 away win to Wigan, Arsene Wenger will be furthured pleased by today's draw. Leeds are a more than decent side, but are easily beatable with a mid-strength Arsenal side. With the Carling Cup now over for the Gunners, the League looking unlikely, and the Champions League as tough as ever, the FA Cup is the best chance for Arsenal to win a trophy for the first time in six seasons.
