This season, everyone was expecting near perfection from our defense with every tough opponent we faced. Most fans, including myself, figured that a simple couple of scores on offense could almost win every game. Though many disagreed that Nebraska should be favored to win this game, even Husker fans didn't expect Nebraska to come into the Holiday Bowl and rout Arizona in all facets of the game. In every place where the defense was great, the special teams and offense managed to stick close to the level of play of the Blackshirts. As much as you'd like to talk about the positive impact that this game has on our season and momentum into the off season, I'll leave that for another day and just focus on all the things that went right against the Wildcats.
