Ever since LeBron James made his "decision" live on ESPN during an hour long special, sports fans around the world have been making a mockery out of the way James handled his free agency. Even ESPN, the company that holds his hand at all costs, made a mockery of it during the ESPY'S with Steve Carrel, star of the TV show "The Office".
There have been rumors out there that our own Brian Scalabrine was going to announce his decision live on Wicked Good Sports, but nothing has come of that so far. Scal stated recently that he wants to stay in the NBA, but so doesn't everyone that's ever played in the league.
Moving on to today's big news, Anthony Tolliver (it's okay if you just said who?) announced his "decision" to "take his talents north" to the Minnesota Timberwolves via YouTube. Tolliver is the first player to make a mockery of James and what makes it even better is that not many people know who he is.
Tolliver has spent most of his career in and out of the NBA playing with the Cavaliers, Spurs, Trail Blazers, and Warriors, as well as the Iowa Energy, Austin Toros, and Idaho Stampede of the NBA D-League. This past season he scored a career high 34 points in a game with the Warriors.
So, what do you think people will remember more? His 34-point effort in an NBA game, or a YouTube video mocking the most publicized player in the game today? If I had to put my money on it, I'd have to go with the second option.
