By Monday, they has lost their national ranking in the top twenty-five and by Tuesday night they had lost their head coach. It was announced that Jim Calhoun, 67, will take a leave of absence from the team for an undetermined amount of time. This is the latest health concern for coach Calhoun, who has three times beaten cancer and has missed multiple games in recent years due to health issues.
