Hofstra University's Lou Ruggirello, senior, and P.J. Gillespie, junior, now hold the title of 26th and 27th NCAA Division I Wrestling All-Americans in University history. They both had victories on Friday night in the fourth round of the 2011 Division Championships.

At 133 pounds, Ruggirello defeated Tony Ramos from Iowa, the sixth seed, earning him the title of Hofstra's 26th All-American. He will wrestle in the seventh place match against Bernard Futrell from Illinois Saturday morning. Gillespie earned his All-American title from his victory against Stephen Burak in his fourth consolation match. His next match will be against Lehigh's Brandon Hatchett.

Closing his collegiate career Friday night, Senior Ryan Patrovich had a tough loss to Colby Covington of Oregon State. He ended his season with an 18-7 record and 75-38 career mark.

Penn State is in the lead with 92.5 points, Cornell with 75 and Oklahoma State with 65.5. Hofstra is holding 27th place with 21 points, but earning titles and continuing to strive.
