Heading into Week 2 the Big 12 is 9-0. The hot start was expected, especially considering the Big 12 has the best out of conference record out of all the BCS conferences in the past 5 years.

Heading into Week 2, there is some interesting games. Some big games, and some blowout games. I think the Big 12 will once again do very well this week.

Well, here go the predictions:

Saturday, September 7th:

West Virginia @ Oklahoma: The first Big 12 game of the year. Even though OU is a much better team than WVU this game will be a lot closer than it should because of the atmosphere, and the theme of the game.

Final Score: WVU 17 OU 24

Buffalo @ Baylor: Probably the easiest win for a Big 12 team this week will come this week. Even though Buffalo is an underperforming MAC team, they have shown signs of improvement in the past years. Since I had the game last week so close I think BU will put on a show.

Final Score: Buffalo 3 Baylor 42

Louisiana Lafayette @ Kansas State: I am calling for the first upset of the year. Coming off one of the best seasons in school history KSU will be a bummer this year. Snyder will find a way to win some games. KSU will get caught off guard and have a bad loss. ULL is also a very good team.

Final Score: ULL 17 KSU 10

Southeastern Louisiana @ TCU: One Louisiana team may be getting lucky but the other won't. TCU in a blowout.

Final Score: SELA 0 TCU 40

Oklahoma State @ UTSA: A very intriguing game here. UTSA is in their second year of division 1 play, and really would want this upset. But it won't happen.

Final Score: OKST 42 UTSA 20

Stephen F. Austin @ Texas Tech: Another easy game for the Red Raiders. Things will get a lot tougher next week thoug. Tech in a blowout.

Final Score: SFA 10 TTU 52

Texas @ Brigham Young: My game of the week right here. Most of you do not know this but BYU's QB did transfer to Kansas. This will be big for the Cougars this season. Ut will pull away in the end.

Final Score: UT 24 BYU 10

South Dakota @ Kansas: USD is fairly new to division one play, but have already upset some low lying programs in division 1 like Minnesota. This could be an upset especially is KU does not come to play right away but I see KU winning this one fairly easy.

Final Score: USD 17 KU 42
