John Calipari and his young Cats will roll into Auburn tonight sporting a 15-1 record with the hopes of correcting last year's road woes. With all the accomplishments of Cal's Cats last season it seems easy to forget about the 2-6 record. "I dont know. Let's play the games," Calipari said. " I know last year we were 2-6.   I also know at the end of the year we were the best team in the country.  We learned along the way.  This team has a lot of learning to do right now."

The good news is the Cats will get to ease in to this road schedule with Auburn, who is 10-5, 0-1.  The Tigers haven't been beaten at home this season and boast wins over McNeese St, Kennesaw St, Nicholls St, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, South Florida, and Bethune Cookman.  The Tigers are most recently coming off of a 65-35 road thrashing at the hands of Vandy.

This Kentucky engine is powered by the three-headed Freshman monster of Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Marquis Teague.  Collectively they average a cool 37.1 PPG and 20.8 RPG. On top of that you can add another 4.6 BPG for Davis.

The Tigers are coached by Tony Barbee who was a player under Calipari at U. Mass and an assistant at Memphis. Barbee enjoyed success at UTEP before making his transition to the SEC.  Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00pm.
