As Travis mentioned in his article earlier today, we are currently at a dull point in the NBA season and there is not a whole heck of a lot to write about. The C's roster is practically set and we are just waiting for training camp to start. Luckily, we at Gino's Jungle are always thinking outside the box to keep content flowing on the site.
Today while I was driving down the road (coming back from Burger King) I had an idea pop up in my head to do a post highlighting some of the best Celtics "tweeters" on the heavy weight social networking site Twitter.
Currently the Celtics have nine players on Twitter, including their newest addition Shaquille O'Neal (@The_Real_Shaq). Kendrick Perkins, Kevin Garnett, Luke Harangody, Jermaine O'Neal, and Semih Erden are the five Celtics that have stayed away from the social networking site (so far).

I'm sure a lot of you are already following all of these guys, so the point of this post was to awaken you to some other great Celtics "tweeters" out there. This list includes bloggers, members of the media, and fans you do not want to miss out on.
In no particular order:
@ESPNForsberg - This account belongs to Chris Forsberg, the official Celtics beat writer for ESPN Boston. Chris broke onto the scene last season and hasn't disappointed since. Chris covers the team in ways many members of the media haven't caught onto yet. He uses great videos, pictures, and much more to deliver on the spot news.
@SportsGuy33 - If you don't follow Bill Simmons by now I feel sorry for you. Simmons, host of The BS Report, uses his account to express all of his very highly opinionated thoughts. You will either a) love that I told you to follow him or b) never visit Gino's Jungle again because you don't agree with him. I'm just hoping you choose option A.
@CelticsBlog - If you haven't already, meet Jeff Clark from Celtics Blog. Jeff uses this account to express all of his personal thoughts as well as all the latest news on his premier Celtics Blog.
@Sherrodbcsn - This account is that of Comcast Sports Net New England's A. Sherrod Blakely. Sherrod came to Boston last season after covering the Pistons in Detroit. So far Sherrod has done nothing but drop knowledge bombs and breaking news onto those who follow him. He's best known for being the first to report the signing of Shaquille O'Neal.
@KWAPT - Now... onto one of the best fans of the best franchise in sports history. Kwapt, aka Kobe Wears A Purple Thong, is one of the most devoted fans I have ever had the privilige to meet. During last year's finals he offered to dress up like a woman on Craigslist in exchange for tickets. If you follow his account you can be sure you'll be amused with hillarious photos, videos, and much more.
@MrTrpleDouble10 - Jay, aka MrTrpleDouble10, is another one of those great Celtics fans out there. He holds season tickets, blogs for Red's Army, and is always involved in some great conversations on Twitter.
@FLCeltsFan - If it weren't for Shirley Coshatt, aka FLCeltsFan, we would probably not be where we are today. Shirley assembles a daily links post for Celtics Blog, Celtics Life, and her own site Loy's Place. These links help drive traffic to sites all around the Celtics blogosphere and provide plenty of news for C's fans around the web.
@CSL_Duke - This account belongs to Jon Duke, one half of the great Celtics podcast Celtics Stuff Live. You can follow Jon for all the latest updates about Celtics Stuff Live and for all his thoughts on the latest Celtics happenings.
@RayAllenTribute - Celtics fans meet Phil from Vermont. We met Phil via our podcast The Celtics Late Night Show. Phil is another one of those really dedicated fans. You will always find him on Twitter giving his opinion on all things going on with the C's. He's also a huge Ray Allen fan, so all you "Trade Ray" people should stay away.
@GlobeGaryDzen - Last but not least, follow this account for the latest articles and thoughts from Boston Globe staff writer Gary Dzen. Gary is from Boston so you can be sure that nine times out of ten you'll like what he has to say.
